Amanda Carl has lived in New Jersey all her life. She is passionate about many things, especially her music, but we just wanted to tell you a little bit about her the way we know her. Her dream is to marry Matthew McConaughey, but let's face it, the age difference is extraordinary. On the weekends you can find Amanda hypnotized as she watches endless reruns of Friends. Once she had an entire conversation with her father as she watched the show, and when it was over, she didn't remember a single thing he said. It's sad, but true. When Amanda isn't watching T.V., she spends her time writing music, acting, being with her family and friends, making and editing movies, watching Broadway plays, hanging out in Borders, and memorizing every single word to every single show tune that exists. One of Amanda's favorite Broadway shows is Wicked, and her favorite Broadway actors are Idina Menzel, Norbert Leo Butz and Sherie Rene Scott. Much of her music is inspired by the wide variety of genres that she listens to. You will usually find her singing along with Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Lisa Loeb, Anna Nalick, Alanis Morissette, Jimmy Eat World, Jack Johnson , Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen. Most importantly, her music comes from her life experiences with friendship, family, and love.
